ARCTIC Xtreme is specifically designed and manufactured for the patrol officer. This patent-pending system installs and attaches within seconds to the underside of your body armor. Made from durable and pliable material, ARCTIC Xtreme delivers forced air through hundreds of small vents to cool the front and back of your upper body to help evaporate sweat. Testing we conducted resulted in seeing a significant reduction in built-up humidity under the vest (while in use) by more than 50% as well as lowering the temperature under the body armor by up to 15 %. 
 
A customized small pump system comes with ARCTIC Xtreme that is specially designed to magnetically attach to the inside of a police unit which are commonly outfitted with an abundance of metal. This allows you to attach it in a variety of areas within the unit.

The unique pump system plugs into your unit's 12v plug. It is designed to be used while in or while standing next to the unit as to not add weight to your body. The ARCTIC Xtreme vest is so thin that when not in use, you won't know you're wearing it. 

When you return to your unit and your body is overheated and sweaty, simply attach the proprietary magnetic connector to the inlet on the ARCTIC Xtreme vest. The magnetic connection allows for hands free use. Turn on the pump system and feel the instant inflation of ARCTIC Xtreme. Because your body armor is strapped to your body, ARCTIC Xtreme inflates instantly and forces ambient air or air conditioned air in the cab of your unit out of the hundreds of small vents against the front and back of your upper body. Aside from the evaporation of sweat and significant decrease in humidity, a chilled affect on your skin is felt while helping cool the body's core. Many have compared the chilled affect to getting out of a hot sauna and feeling ambient air hit your body for the first time.

Because of the amount of air instantly forced out of the many vents , ARCTIC Xtreme only needs to be ran for 15-60 seconds for noticeable relief. However, it can be ran for up to 2 minutes. The short stints of usage provide great relief until the next time your body needs it. Research showed most people only needed to utilize ARCTIC Xtreme a few times per hour on hot days. However, those in much hotter and humid areas may find themselves using it in short stints more frequently to stay comfortable. You can use the pump system by itself (while not connected to the AX vest) for up to 10 minutes to dry your face, neck and head.
 
Due to the high volume of air infused under your body armor by ARCTIC Xtreme's uniquely designed air delivery system, ARCTIC Xtreme doesn't need to fit your body armor's exact size. You can be assured that air will reach all areas under your body armor.
